Exploring the City of Portland open datasets for Disco Tech 2023
The Smart City PDX’s Open Data program is organizing an Open Data Disco Tech as part of the 2023 celebrations of open data. This blog post compiles logistics information and datasets for the disco tech.
Logistics for the event
The open data disco tech will be hybrid, with online and in-person attendance. For the online attendance, the DemocracyLab platform will be active from Friday 3/24 at 6 PM and close after the event on March 25 at 5 PM.
The in-person attendance will be at the room 100 on the Portland Building. This room is on the left side of the access lobby. The main door can be locked, you can send knock on the window of the adjacent room facing SW Fifth Ave.

Agenda
Doors open at 9 AM and the event will start at 9:30 (for in-person and online attendance). The event will end at 4 PM.
9:30 - Kick off.
10:00 - team formation and break out rooms - put together a list of subjects.
11:30 - Lunch break - lunch provided to in-person attendees.
12:30 - teams check in.
1:00 - 3:00 Teamwork – afternoon session.
3:00 - Teams demo and report back
4:00 - end of event
